Children's Electronic Workshop

Local as well as touring
"mad scientists" will exhibit their homemade electronic musical instruments/franken-instruments while employing easy, fun techniques to teach children how to produce songs on their own, using simple yet unique machinery. David Talento, for example, has been known to wire a Game Boy so it acts like a keyboard! Children, not yet hindered by music genre terms and labels, can still appreciate the electronic music as being what they hear on video games or in movies, and maybe something they would like to create or just listen to more often.

This event showcases David Talento (Music for Isolation Tanks, ODM), Steven Zeitler (inventor of the theremin-like instrument The Zeitron), improvisors Jeff Allport and Tim Olive(from Osaka, Japan), and Christopher Perri of Aguafuego and Oaxerai.
